Our most recent source is from summer 2025 — before that date, when the benefit was still in implementation planning — so whether it is operational today is not verified. The Act covers services from an IBCLC "or a certified lactation counselor under supervision of a contracted and in-network healthcare provider"; whether an IBCLC will bill independently is not yet established. Arkansas Medicaid had not previously covered lactation services at all.
